With 15 years’ experience building hundreds of meaningful and strategic cross-sector partnerships, Jessica supports both corporations and non-profits in their desire to do more good. Her approach is informed by her background in Social Work and decade spent within the nonprofit sector, giving her corporate clients a deeper and more holistic understanding of the power and potential of strategic philanthropy and social impact. She founded Jessica James Consulting in 2016 to bridge the sectors and bring lasting value to both sides, and collaborates with Citizen on both corporate and non-profit engagements.
Skilled at navigating complexity, understanding systems change, and communicating effectively to diverse stakeholders, Jessica is a highly sought after speaker and trainer on corporate social responsibility, corporate engagement, and the effect of this rise upon both sectors. She is a featured presenter at Fundraising Day New York, Nonprofit New York, RAISE, Support Center for Nonprofit Management, Columbia University and SXSW 2018 and 2019. Jessica holds an MSW from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
